CAM4
18+

18+ Only. CAM4 is an adult platform. Account registration confirms you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, do not register.

How to Create a CAM4 Account and Log In — I Walked Through It Myself

When I first registered for CAM4, the process was faster than I expected — under two minutes from visiting the homepage to having an active account. This guide walks through exactly what I did, so you can replicate it without any guesswork.

Creating a New CAM4 Account

Creating a New CAM4 Account

Registration is free and doesn't require a credit card. Here's the process as I experienced it:

Step 1: Go to cam4.com

The homepage shows live content immediately — you don't need an account to browse. The registration option is in the top navigation.

Step 2: Click Register

The registration form appears. You need:

  • A username — Your public identity on the platform. Choose something that doesn't reveal personal information.
  • An email address — Must be valid; you'll receive a verification email.
  • A password — Use a strong, unique password. Given CAM4's documented 2020 data incident (an unsecured server exposed account data), a unique password not used elsewhere is important here.
  • Date of birth confirmation — You'll confirm you are 18+.

Step 3: Verify your email

CAM4 sends a verification link to your email address. Click it. The verification is required before you can participate in chat or tip.

Step 4: Account is active

After email verification, your account is fully functional for free-tier features — chat, browsing, and free public show viewing.

The process took me approximately 90 seconds excluding the email verification step (which arrives quickly but depends on your email provider).

Logging In to an Existing Account

Logging In to an Existing Account

If you already have a CAM4 account:

Via the website:

  1. Go to cam4.com
  2. Click "Login" in the top navigation
  3. Enter your username or email address and password
  4. Click Login

Via mobile browser:

Same process — the mobile site uses identical login flow.

If you're logging in from a new device or location, CAM4 may send a verification email to confirm it's you. This is normal security behavior.

How to Reset Your Password

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Go to cam4.com and click Login
  2. Click "Forgot Password" below the password field
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Check your email for the reset link
  5. Click the link (valid for a limited time)
  6. Set a new password

The reset email typically arrives within a few minutes. Check spam/junk if it doesn't appear in your inbox.

Account Security Recommendations

Given the 2020 security incident (an unsecured ElasticSearch server exposed approximately 10.88 billion records from CAM4's database), account security is worth taking seriously:

Use a unique password. Don't reuse a password from another service. A password manager makes this practical.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Available in your account security settings. This adds a second verification step when logging in from a new device.

Use a username that isn't your real name. Your username is public — it appears in chat when you comment. Choose something that doesn't identify you personally.

Be aware of what data you provide. CAM4 requires email for registration; a phone number is optional. Provide minimum necessary information.

Logging In on Mobile

Mobile browser login: Identical to desktop — go to cam4.com in your mobile browser, click Login, enter credentials.

Broadcaster apps: The C4 Broadcaster app (Android, Google Play) and C4 CAM app (iOS, App Store) both require login with your CAM4 credentials. These are broadcaster tools, not viewer apps.

Android viewer app: The viewer app was removed from Google Play in January 2023. Android viewers use the mobile browser for the best experience.

See our CAM4 app guide for the complete mobile situation.

Creating a Broadcaster Account

If you want to broadcast (not just watch), the same account is used, but you'll need additional verification:

  1. Complete the standard account registration
  2. Go to broadcaster settings
  3. Submit age verification documentation (government ID)
  4. Wait for verification (typically 24–48 hours)
  5. Once approved, configure your broadcaster profile, category, and rates
  6. Click "Go Live"

Broadcasting is free to start. Revenue comes from viewer tokens. See our complete CAM4 review for the full platform context, and our tokens guide for payout information.

FAQ — CAM4 Login and Account

No — CAM4 allows full public show browsing and viewing without any account or registration. An account is only required when you want to participate in public chat, tip with tokens, or book private shows. Registration is free and takes under two minutes.

Most login failures are due to: (1) typing the wrong username or email, (2) wrong password, (3) the account email not being verified, or (4) a temporary block after multiple failed attempts. Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset via email. If problems persist, CAM4's support is accessible through the platform's help section.

CAM4 is a legitimate platform with ASACP and FSC credentials. However, the 2020 data security incident is documented — an unsecured server exposed account data. Use a unique password, enable two-factor authentication, and use an email address that isn't linked to your real name if anonymity matters to you.

CAM4's terms of service restrict multiple accounts per person. Creating duplicate accounts to exploit promotions or circumvent restrictions violates their terms and may result in both accounts being suspended.
